For brides & grooms

Is the data on this site official and up to date?

TerminySlubow.pl is an independent information service, not a government office. We receive data directly from USCs we have an agreement with. Their pages carry a green „Data confirmed by USC” banner. Other pages show approximate data or a link to the office's official online booking system. Binding reservations are made by the office only.

Can I book a slot through this site?

No. The site is informational — it shows when USCs have wedding rooms free. Booking requires personal (or phone) contact with the office and document filing. To book, contact the chosen USC directly. Find a USC.

How much does a civil wedding cost?

Standard stamp duty is PLN 84. The first marriage-certificate copy is free, subsequent copies cost PLN 22 each. Outdoor weddings off USC premises may require an additional fee (up to PLN 1,000) set by the gmina council. Full fee table.

How far in advance should I book?

The statutory waiting period from filing documents to the wedding is 1 month. In wedding season (May–September, Saturdays) popular USCs are booked 6–12 months ahead. Off season: 1–3 months.

Can I get married outside the USC, e.g. outdoors?

Yes — since 2015 outdoor weddings are possible within the USC's gmina (not everywhere). It requires arrangements with the office and an extra fee (up to PLN 1,000). Some USCs restrict outdoor venues to specific places (parks, manor houses, beaches).

Can I get married at a USC outside my place of residence?

Yes. A marriage can be celebrated at any USC in Poland regardless of where either partner is registered. Both partners must, however, appear in person at that USC to file the documents.

What if the slot I want shows „taken”?

Slots are updated regularly, but cancellations do happen. You can call the USC and ask to be put on the waiting list for a specific date. Alternatives — pick a Friday afternoon (less popular than Saturday) or a USC in a neighbouring gmina.

For USC employees

Is cooperation with TerminySlubow.pl paid for offices?

No. Cooperation is free, based on a public-data sharing agreement. The service is funded through partnerships with wedding-service providers (photographers, venues, florists) shown to couples — not by office fees.

Does our office lose control of its data?

No. The office has full control — publish slots through the admin panel, edit, delete or fully withdraw data at any time. The agreement is terminable from one day to the next with no financial consequences.

What data do we publish?

Only information about wedding-room availability (date, time, status: free/taken) and address details from BIP. We never publish personal data of brides, grooms or witnesses.

What are the technical requirements?

None special — a web browser is enough (Chrome/Edge/Firefox/Safari). The USC employee receives a magic link at their work email and signs into the panel. Slot edits take seconds. CSV/Excel import is available in the production panel.

Can we see the panel before signing?

Yes — open the public panel preview. All fields are disabled (read-only), but the layout, functions and sample data match the production version. No login, no registration.
