About the project

TerminySlubow.pl exists to simplify one specific step of planning a wedding — checking which slots are free at a local civil registry office. No phone calls, no traveling between offices, no login.

Why this project exists

Roughly 130,000 civil weddings take place in Poland each year. Every couple faces the same question: when is it free? Standard procedure means phone, email or a personal visit. In the wedding season this produces hundreds of failed contact attempts; for civil registry offices, hundreds of repetitive inquiries that pull staff off real work.

We decided to build a single nationwide place where couples can quickly check availability and offices can effortlessly publish their open slots.

Who runs the project

TerminySlubow.pl is an initiative of Ihor Bereteli IT Solutions, a Polish design-and-engineering studio specialising in public-sector solutions. We work with USC managers, lawyers specialising in administrative law and digital-accessibility experts (WCAG).

How we fund this — full transparency

Using TerminySlubow.pl is free for citizens and USCs. The project is funded through partnerships with vetted wedding-service providers:

  • Photographers, wedding venues, florists, DJs listed on city pages
  • Every commercial entry is marked with the „Ad” tag
  • Partner links use the rel="sponsored" attribute
  • We never sell or share user data

We do not charge offices. We do not require login or registration. We do not use advertising trackers beyond standard anonymous analytics (with the user's consent).

Where does slot data come from?

Slot-availability data comes directly from civil registry offices that have signed a public-data sharing agreement with us. USC cooperation is free and voluntary — details on the For Offices page.

For offices with no formal cooperation we display only address details from BIP (the public information bulletin). The availability calendar is not shown for those.

Project values

  • Independence — we are not part of the state administration but act in its public interest.
  • Openness — slot data is also published as an API (CC BY 4.0 for non-commercial use).
  • Accessibility — every page meets WCAG 2.1 AA, key for public-sector cooperation.
  • Privacy — we minimise data we touch. GDPR compliance verified by counsel.
