Wedding slots in Giżycko

The procedure for entering into marriage in Giżycko begins with filing a declaration of absence of legal obstacles to marriage. This document should be submitted to the Civil Registry Office in Giżycko in person or through a proxy.

After filing the declaration, a statutory waiting period of at least 1 month applies. During this period, the office verifies the absence of obstacles to marriage. Only after this period expires is it possible to book a specific day for the ceremony.

Required documents differ depending on the citizenship of the parties. Polish citizens should have a valid identity card or passport. The Civil Registry Office in Giżycko obtains copies of birth certificates directly from the civil registry, so there is usually no need to provide them independently.

Foreigners must submit:
