Wedding slots in Wieruszów

A civil wedding in Wieruszów begins with filing a declaration of no impediment to marriage at the Civil Registry Office. After this registration, a statutory waiting period of at least one month applies. This period allows for data verification and procedure preparation.

Polish citizens should bring a valid identity card or passport. Birth certificate copies are not usually required, as the Civil Registry Office in Wieruszów obtains them directly from the register. The procedure is therefore simplified for country residents.

Foreigners must provide:

• identity document,
• birth certificate copy,
• certificate of legal capacity to marry (or a court order when obtaining it is impossible),
• certified translations of foreign language documents.

The ceremony must be accompanied by two adult witnesses. They can be persons of any nationality. Their presence is mandatory and entered in the marriage certificate.
