Wedding slots in Wiązów

The procedure for entering into marriage at the Civil Registry Office in Wiązów begins with filing a declaration of absence of obstacles to marriage. After delivering the required documents, the registrar sets the date of the ceremony, however, in accordance with Polish law, one must wait a minimum of 1 month from the filing of the declaration.

Polish citizens should bring a valid ID card or passport. Copies of birth certificates are usually not necessary, as the Civil Registry Office in Wiązów obtains them directly from the civil registry. The procedure is therefore simplified for Polish citizens.

Foreigners must prepare for a more extensive process. An outdoor wedding or a ceremony at another location is associated with an additional fee of 1000 zł and the requirement to ensure safety and dignified conditions for the ceremony.

Two adult witnesses are necessary to enter into marriage. They can be persons of any nationality; it is only important that they are at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity.
