To have a civil wedding in Ustronie Morskie, you must first submit a declaration of no impediments to marriage at the Civil Status Office. This document is the starting point of the entire procedure and initiates the statutory waiting period.

After submitting the declaration, a minimum waiting period of 1 month applies. During this period, the office verifies that there are no legal impediments to marriage. Only after this period expires is it possible to set the date of the ceremony.

Polish citizens should bring a valid identity card or passport. Copies of birth certificates are usually not necessary, as the Civil Status Office in Ustronie Morskie obtains them directly from the civil status register.
