Wedding slots in Tomice

A civil marriage in Tomice requires prior reservation of a date at the Civil Registry Office. The engaged couple should submit a declaration of no impediments to marriage, on the basis of which the office sets the date of the ceremony. According to regulations, the date cannot be earlier than one month from the day of submitting the declaration.

Each of the engaged couple must present a valid identity document (ID card or passport). Polish citizens usually do not need to provide copies of birth certificates, as the Civil Registry Office in Tomice obtains them from the civil registry. The situation is different for foreigners, who must submit a copy of their birth certificate, a certificate of legal capacity to marry, and certified translations of required documents.

The tax fee for drawing up a marriage certificate is 84 zł. The first short copy of the certificate is issued free of charge immediately after the ceremony.

A civil marriage in Tomice can take place at the office headquarters. The engaged couple also has the option to marry outdoors or outside the office, however this is associated with an additional fee of 1000 zł and the requirement to ensure safety and dignified conditions for the ceremony.

When concluding a marriage, two adult witnesses are required. They can be persons of any nationality, it is only important that they are of age and capable of legal acts.
