A civil marriage in Świeradów-Zdrój begins with filing a declaration of no impediments to marriage at the Civil Registry Office. From this moment, a statutory waiting period of at least 1 month applies. During this period, the office verifies documents and checks for the absence of legal obstacles.

Polish citizens should bring a valid identity card or passport. Copies of birth certificates are not required, as the office obtains them directly from the civil registry.
