Wedding slots in Świebodzicach

The procedure for entering into a civil marriage in Świebodzice begins with filing a declaration of no impediments to marriage at the Civil Registry Office. Both fiancés should appear in person at the office to complete this registration.

After filing the declaration, there is a statutory waiting period of a minimum of one month. During this period, the Civil Registry Office in Świebodzice checks whether there are any impediments to marriage. Only after this period expires can the date of the ceremony be set.

Required documents are:

• valid ID card or passport (for Polish citizens)
• certified copies of birth certificates obtained by the Civil Registry Office from the civil registry
• for foreigners: identity document, certified copy of birth certificate, certificate of legal capacity to enter into marriage, and certified translations of documents

The court fee for drawing up the marriage certificate is 84 zloty. The first certified copy of the certificate is issued free of charge immediately after the ceremony.

The ceremony can take place at the Civil Registry Office in Świebodzice or at another location (outdoor wedding). A wedding outside the office premises is associated with an additional fee of 1000 zloty and requires ensuring safety and dignified conditions for the couple and participants.

Two adult witnesses are required, who can be citizens of any country. The witnesses sign the marriage certificate in the presence of an office employee.
