Wedding slots in Stężyca

The procedure for concluding a civil marriage in Stężyca begins with filing a declaration of no impediments to marriage at the Civil Registry Office. After filing this declaration, a statutory waiting period of minimum one month applies.

Before proceeding to the ceremony, the prospective spouses must provide required documents. Polish citizens submit a valid identity card or passport. The Civil Registry Office in Stężyca obtains copies of birth certificates directly from the register, so there is no need to provide them independently.

Foreigners must prepare additional documentation: an identity document, a copy of the birth certificate, a certificate of legal capacity to marry issued by the appropriate authorities of their country, and all foreign-language documents require certified translation.
