Wedding slots in Puńsk

Entering into marriage in Puńsk requires prior booking of a date at the Civil Status Office. Future spouses must submit a declaration of no impediments to marriage, after which a statutory waiting period of at least one month applies.

Polish citizens prepare for the ceremony by preparing a valid identity card or passport. Copies of birth certificates are usually not required, as the Civil Status Office in Puńsk retrieves them directly from the civil status register.

Foreigners must provide additional documents:

• valid identity document,
• copy of birth certificate,
• certificate of legal capacity to enter into marriage (or court order if obtaining it is impossible),
• sworn translations of all documents.
