The civil wedding procedure in Pruszcz Gdański begins with filing a declaration of no impediments to marriage. After filing it, a statutory waiting period of at least one month applies. During this period, office staff verify documents and check for circumstances preventing the marriage from taking place.

To get married in Pruszcz Gdański, a Polish citizen should have a valid identity card or passport. Copies of birth certificates from the Civil Status Office are usually obtained independently from the civil registry, so there is no need to provide them.
