Concluding a marriage at the Civil Registry Office in Nowogard requires prior preparation and submission of appropriate documents. The first step is to book a ceremony date at the office. The couple should report in person to submit a declaration of no impediments to marriage.

From the date of submitting the declaration, a statutory waiting period of at least one month applies. During this period, the office conducts preparatory proceedings and prepares documentation. This period cannot be shortened, regardless of circumstances.

Documents required from Polish citizens are a valid ID card or passport. Copies of birth certificates do not need to be provided, as the Civil Registry Office in Nowogard retrieves them directly from the civil registry.
