Wedding slots in Mieszkowice

A civil wedding in Mieszkowice begins with filing a declaration of no impediments to marriage at the Civil Registry Office. After this step, there is a mandatory waiting period of at least one month. This period results from the provisions of the family and guardianship code and cannot be shortened.

The engaged couple must present a valid identity document, which is a national ID card or passport. Polish citizens do not need to provide copies of birth certificates, as the Civil Registry Office in Mieszkowice obtains them independently from the register. Foreigners, however, are required to provide an identity document, a copy of a birth certificate, and a certificate of legal capacity to marry from their country of origin, along with certified translations.
