A civil marriage in Lubsko begins with submitting a declaration of no impediments to marriage at the Civil Registry Office. This document is the starting point of the entire procedure and must be signed by both parties.

After submitting the declaration, a statutory waiting period of a minimum of 1 month applies. During this period, the Civil Registry Office in Lubsko checks whether there are any impediments to marriage. This period cannot be shortened.
