Concluding a marriage at the Civil Registry Office in Łódź requires prior notification and meeting several conditions. The procedure begins with filing a declaration of no impediments to marriage by both parties at the office.

After filing the declaration, a statutory waiting period of minimum 1 month applies. During this period, the Civil Registry Office in Łódź verifies the absence of impediments to marriage. After this period expires, you can schedule the ceremony.

Documents required from a Polish citizen include a valid ID card or passport. Birth certificates usually do not need to be provided, as the Civil Registry Office obtains them directly from the civil registry.
