Wedding slots in Leśnica

A civil marriage in Leśnica begins with booking a date at the Civil Registry Office. The future spouses should personally report to the office and submit a declaration of no impediments to marriage. From that moment, a statutory waiting period of at least 1 month applies.

Polish citizens provide a valid identity card or passport. Birth certificate copies are automatically retrieved by the Civil Registry Office from the civil status register, so they usually do not need to be submitted separately. Foreigners must present an identity document, a birth certificate copy, a certificate of legal capacity to marry, and certified translations of all foreign language documents.

The ceremony in Leśnica takes place at the office headquarters. An outdoor wedding outside the office building is also possible, however this involves an additional fee of 1000 zł and the requirement to ensure safety and dignified conditions for the ceremony.

Two adult witnesses are required to enter into marriage. They can be persons of any nationality. The tax fee for drawing up the marriage certificate is 84 zł and is paid at the time of the ceremony or earlier, as instructed by the office.

The marriage certificate is issued immediately after the ceremony. The first short copy of the certificate is free of charge. Additional copies can be obtained under the terms specified by law.
