To have a civil wedding in Krzanowice, you must first report to the Civil Registry Office with a declaration of no impediments to marriage. This document should be signed by both parties and contain a statement that neither of them is in a marriage relationship and that no other legal impediments exist.

After submitting the declaration, a statutory waiting period of at least one month applies. During this time, the office verifies the provided information and prepares documentation for the ceremony.

Before the wedding, each party must present a valid identity document (ID card or passport). Polish citizens usually do not need to provide copies of birth certificates, as the Civil Registry Office obtains them directly from the civil registry. Foreign nationals, however, should prepare a copy of their birth certificate, a certificate of legal capacity to enter into marriage, and certified translations of necessary documents.
