Wedding slots in Jemielnica

A civil marriage in Jemielnica requires prior submission of a declaration of no impediment to marriage. From that moment, a statutory waiting period of at least one month applies. After this period expires, the couple can schedule a specific date for the ceremony at the Civil Registry Office in Jemielnica.

Each of the engaged parties must appear in person with an identity document. Polish citizens submit a valid ID card or passport. The Civil Registry Office in Jemielnica obtains copies of birth certificates directly from the registry, so there is no need to provide them independently.

The marriage ceremony takes place in the presence of two adult witnesses. They can be persons of any nationality, however, they must be capable of legal acts.

The registry fee for drawing up a marriage certificate is 84 zloty. This amount covers all formal procedures related to marriage registration.

After the marriage is concluded, the couple receives a marriage certificate. The first short copy is issued free of charge.

Foreign nationals wishing to get married in Jemielnica must submit an identity document, a copy of their birth certificate, and a certificate of legal capacity to enter into marriage. Documents issued abroad require certified translation into Polish.
