A civil wedding in Czerwieńsk begins with booking a date at the Civil Registry Office. The couple should contact the office in advance to arrange an available ceremony date and familiarize themselves with the required documents and procedure.

Before concluding the marriage, the engaged couple must submit a declaration of no impediments to marriage. From that moment, a statutory waiting period of minimum one month applies. During this period, the office verifies whether there are no obstacles to concluding the marriage.

Polish citizens should bring a valid ID card or passport. Birth certificate extracts are usually not necessary, as the Civil Registry Office in Czerwieńsk obtains them directly from the civil registry.

Foreigners must prepare:
